The Delaware County Trail Committee (DCTC), created in August 2016 by an act of the Delaware County Board of Commissioners, includes county residents and representatives from the Delaware County Economic Development department, Delaware County Regional Planning Commission, Delaware County Engineer’s Office, Delaware General Health District, Delaware County Preservation Parks and the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission.

The Delaware County Board of Commissioners approved the Delaware County Trail System Master Plan in November of 2017. It includes a conceptual plan with area maps of existing and needed trails, as well as potential funding options and resources for those building trails. DCTC held meetings with officials from Delaware County city, village and township jurisdictions and held a public open house during the process of creating this plan.
