Delaware County has been named the “Healthiest County in Ohio” for the last four years in a row by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, but they’ve now taken it to a new level with their ranking as the No. 12 healthiest county in the entire country by U.S. News & World Report.
In the magazine’s March 28, 2018, edition, a well researched analysis of the county’s healthiness also was published. Entitled “It Takes a Village to Keep a County Healthy,” the story by reporter John Ettorre examined how a “dense web of collaborators” helps keep the county healthy just as much as its economic well being does.
