February Food Assistance Benefits to be Issued Early

Based on guidance from the United States Department of Agriculture, Food Nutrition Service (FNS) families who are eligible for a recurring benefit in February will be issued February Food Assistance (also known as SNAP) benefits on or before Jan. 20, 2019.

Participants therefore will not receive February benefits on the regularly scheduled load date. Participants should remember that February benefits, loaded in January, will need to last until their March load date.

At this time, the Delaware County Department of Job and Family Services does not have any additional information regarding March issuances. This information will be shared as it becomes available.
